© 2025 Adjusters Online
My name is Ed Freeney, and I will be your Adjuster for this claim. My primary goal is to ensure that you receive everything your policy entitles you to throughout this process. To facilitate the best possible outcome, I ask that you take proactive steps to prevent further damage and keep me informed of any new developments regarding the claim. Coverages, including Policy Limits and a Deductible of an amount, will be factored into the Initial Repair Estimate. The typical time frame for claim settlement and closure is approximately five business days following the loss inspection.
The Insured has been instructed to mitigate damages and maintain thorough records of all related expenses.
The next step in the process involves conducting the video loss inspection (PLNAR).
The next step in the process involves a third-party scheduling and conducting the loss inspection.
The Claim Process Steps
1. The Loss Inspection Date. To achieve an Agreed Scope, it’s recommended to have your repair professional present during the inspection.
2. The Cause of Loss will be identified, and an Initial Repair Estimate will be created.
3. Based on your policy, an actual cash value payment (less the deductible) will then be issued, along with the Initial Repair Estimate.
4. If the Initial Repair Estimate includes Missed or Additional Damages, you or your repair professional can provide supporting documents for review by emailing them to myclaiminfo@assurant.com.
5. Additionally, if the Initial Repair Estimate involves Recoverable Depreciation, you’ll need to submit a Certificate of Completion (COC) to myclaiminfo@assurant.com. This can include photos of the completed repairs or a paid invoice from your repair professional after the repairs are finished.
A third party will review all mitigation invoices, and payments will be issued based on the recommended cost.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to assisting you.
